AEM Short Ram Intake System 96-00 Honda Civic DX/CX/LX

AEM offers its Short Ram intake systems as an economical alternative to a Cold Air Intake System or to drivers who are concerned about hydrolock. However, during the development process, AEM found certain applications responded favorably to shorter inlet lengths over a longer Cold Air Intake System. AEM performs extensive temperature testing to locate the filter in the coolest area of the engine compartment, allowing the Short Ram Intake System to achieve the lowest inlet temperatures possible. So, for some vehicles, AEM recommends the Short Ram system only, since it would be the best performing air intake system for that application.
