The AMS EVO Race Intercooler Kit is the same intercooler kit AMS used to run 8.56 second, 167.1 mph @ 1000 + awhp. The famous Black Florida Evo at 903 awhp, AND the 1041 awhp record setting Black and Silver Evo from Florida both run this intercooler. This is the preferred kit for people looking to make huge horsepower. If you are putting out over 600 awhp you need the AMS Race Intercooler to lower your air intake temps & reduce pressure drop. This is the BEST air to air intercooler you can buy for your EVO!

• Genuine FCP 4” core for low pressure drop
• 273 sq/in frontal area for maximum cooling
• Bar and plate construction for greater heat sink capacity
• Comes With Black "AMS" Painted Logo
• 3” inlet and outlet
• TIG welded end tanks
• Radiused at the inlet & outlets for smooth air-flow
• Three heavy duty track tested mounting points for durability
• 3” polished aluminum intercooler piping
• Bead rolled piping to prevent coupler separation
• Piping designed to match up to our VSR Intake manifold
• Flanged for a Tial BOV (other BOV flanges available, call for details)
• Strapping at inlet and outlet to prevent piping from blowing off at high boost levels
• 4 ply silicone couplers and T-bolt clamps

Specification:

• A massive 22”x12.4”x4” thick bar and plate intercooler core

• Fits all USDM, JDM, and European Models

* This Intercooler kit was designed to match up to the AMS GT42R Turbo Kit. It will require a transition coupler to adapt it to the AMS T3/T4 turbo kit. The lower IC pipe can be easily adapted to any aftermarket turbo kit. Installation of the AMS Race Front Mount requires front crash beam removal and trimming of front bumper for IC and IC pipe clearance.
