AMS Power Steering Delete Kit Mitsubishi EVO 8/9

The AMS EVO IV/V/VI/VII/VIII/IX Power Steering Delete Kit is designed for those drag racers that want to shed as much weight as possible. Our kit removes the complete power steering system except for the steering rack. Total weight savings of 11 lbs. In addition to weight savings, this dual purpose kit frees up power by removing parasitic drag from the crankshaft!

Included in this kit is a replacement pulley to bypass the p/s pump, the proper length accessory belt, and a custom jumper line to keep fluid circulated through the power steering gear. Because this kit removes the power steering assist it is not safe or intended for use on the street.
